This week our Year 12 students took a trip to the annual UCAS Convention at Westpoint Exeter engaging with over 150 institutions and employers to support them in their planning for their next steps after Post 16. This opportunity enabled students to tailor their questions and research into what university has to offer discovering information on entry requirements to student accommodation. Other alternative pathways were also well represented with a dedicated employer and apprenticeship zone allowing students to find other alternative potential pathways and routes into a career. The convention offered everything students needed to help them make informed decisions about their futures, providing them with clearer ideas of what each pathway offers, and also gave them the practical next steps in their journey to Post 18 options.
