Students and staff at Teignmouth Community School are once again delighted with the level 3 results announced today with a 100% pass rate for all students completing their level 3 studies. The grades include 54% top level A*/ A grades (or equivalent) and 92% A*-C grades (or equivalent) with many students achieving beyond their expected grades. There were 100% top grades in Mathematics, Law, Sport and Photography.
Those applying to university have all achieved places with many going to their first choice institution, including 39% of these places at Russell Group Universities. They will study a wide range of diverse subjects such as Accounting and Finance, Architecture, Business and Management, English, Engineering, Law with Business, Journalism, and Sport Management and Coaching.
Gill Endacott, Director of Sixth Form commented that “these exceptional results, in a wide range of subjects, reflect the broad post 16 curriculum and individual personalised support offered to TCS6 students. They reward the hard work of the students who were determined to succeed and the commitment, and dedication of staff.”
